Lindab establishes presence in Skellefteå with the acquisition of Nord Trade

Lindab strengthens its presence in northern Sweden with the acquisition of its distributor in Skellefteå. Nord Trade AB is today a distributor of Lindab's building products.

Northern Sweden is an expansive region with major investments such as Northvolt, H2 Green Steel and Hybrit. Lindab does not currently have its own presence in Skellefteå and will through the acquisition get a well-established pro-shop and distribution point in a geographically important location. Nord Trade is a distributor of Lindab's building products and will broaden its range by including Lindab's ventilation products in the future.

"It is a company with high customer satisfaction and good knowledge of Lindab's building products. We are convinced that they will be just as appreciated as a supplier of our ventilation products. Nord Trade AB has annual sales of approximately SEK 20 million and an operating margin that is lower than Lindab's operating margin. Nord Trade is based in Skellefteå in northern Sweden.
