Thames Water Utilities Limited announces
results of the Third Consent Requests
On 30 June 2025, Thames Water Utilities Limited ("TWUL") announced the launch of its Third Consent Requests. Details of the Third Consent Requests can be found in the announcement (the "Launch Announcement") here:
Terms used but not otherwise defined have the meanings given to them in the Launch Announcement and Third Consent Requests, as applicable.
Approval of the Third Consent Requests
TWUL announces today that the Third Consent Requests have been approved with creditors holding:
1. over 96% actively voting in favour of a waiver in respect of the Appeal Condition; and
2. over 94% actively voting in favour of the remaining requests in the Third Consent Request.
Given the approvals above, TWUL and the Super Senior Issuer will proceed with the implementation of the amendments outlined in the Third Consent Requests and will now commence the drawing process for the third tranche of super senior issuer funding, with funding being provided in the last few weeks of July 2025.
