5503.20.00.00.00 Gümrük Tarife İstatistik Pozisyonu altında kayıtlı "poliesterlerden sentetik devamsız lifler (polyester elyaf)" ithalatında son dönemde görülen artış üzerine, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Ticaret Bakanlığına bağlı İthalatta Korunma Önlemlerini Değerlendirme Kurulu tarafından korunma önlemi soruşturması açılmasına karar verilmiştir. Söz konusu karar 30 Mayıs 2020 tarihli Resmi Gazete'de yayınlanmıştır.

Upon the recent increase in imports of "synthetic staple fibers of polyester (polyester fiber)" registered under the 5503.20.00.00.00 Customs Tariff Statistics Positions, it has been decided to open a safeguard investigation by "the Board for the Evaluation of Safeguard Measures" affiliated to Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade. The decision in question was published in the Official Gazette dated 30 May 2020.
