29 Mart 2021 tarihli özel durum açıklamamızda belirtilen yarı iletken tedarikinde yaşanan küresel sıkıntıların devam etmesinin yanında, Japonya'daki deprem ve yangının neden olduğu yarı iletken malzemelerde ilave tedarik sorunları ortaya çıkmıştır.

Şu ana kadar ana ortağımız Ford Motor Company'nin aldığı önlemler ve şirketimizin tedarikçileri ile yaptığı planlamalarla küresel çaptaki bu krizin etkileri en aza indirilmiş olmakla birlikte, bu yeni gelişmenin etkisiyle, her yıl yaz aylarında planlı bakım ve yeni yatırımlarımız için üretim hatlarımızın hazırlanması amacıyla yaptığımız rutin duruşumuzun öne çekilmesine ve Gölcük Fabrikamızda 19 Nisan ile 13 Haziran tarihleri arasında üretime ara verilmesine karar verilmiştir. Yeniköy ve Eskişehir fabrikalarımızda ise üretime devam edilecektir.

Üretime ara verilmesinden kaynaklanan üretim kaybı etkisinin izleyen aylarda üretim temposundaki artış sayesinde azaltılmasıyla, kamuya açıklanan 2021 yılı toplam üretim ve satış adet tahminlerimizin açıklanan sınırların içinde kalması beklenmektedir.

Further to our Material Disclosure dated 29 March 2021, the issues in the global supply of semiconductor is continuing. The problem has been compounded with the additional supply issues in semiconductor caused by the earthquake and fire in Japan.

Until now the impact of this global crisis has been minimized by the efforts of our main partner, Ford Motor Company, and the collaboration we have carried out with our suppliers. Nevertheless, following the recent developments it was decided to bring forward our annual planned summer shutdown and suspend production in our Gölcük plant from April 19 to June 13 due to the restrictions in the supply of some parts, where imported microchip use is intensive. During this period, maintenance works and rearranging production lines in preparation for new investments will continue. Production will continue in our Yeniköy and Eskişehir plants.

The effects of production loss caused by the suspension of production is reduced by the increase in production pace in the following months, therefore, our total production and sales guidance for the year 2021, is expected to remain within the previously announced range.
