Son olarak 27.09.2021 tarihli özel durum açıklamamıza konu olan toplam 2 milyar euro tutarındaki yatırım planı kapsamında, 16 Mart 2021 tarihli ÖDA açıklamasıyla duyurulan yeni nesil 1 tonluk orta ticari araç projelerimiz için 2021-2025 yılları arasında 5 yıl süreyle yatırım yapılmasının öngörüldüğü ve halihazırda Gölcük Fabrikası'nda 195.000 adet kapasite ile üretilen benzer nitelikteki aracın yerine geçmek üzere, Yeniköy Fabrikası'nda yıllık ortalama 405.000 adetlik yeni nesil 1 tonluk orta ticari araç üretim kapasitesi kurulacağı kamuya açıklanmıştır.

Bu kapsamda Yeniköy Fabrikası'nda üretilecek yeni nesil 1 tonluk orta ticari araçlar için Eylül 2023 sonu itibarıyla yaklaşık 1 milyar Euro yatırım harcaması yapılmıştır. Söz konusu yatırımlarla fabrikanın kapalı alanı 110 bin m 2 'den 255 bin m 2 'ye ve üretim kapasitesi 68.000 adetten 245.000 adede yükseltilmiştir. Devam eden yatırımlarla tesisin kapasitesinin 2025 yılında 405.000 adede ulaşması ön görülmektedir.

Söz konusu yatırımlarla yenilenen ve yeni nesil içten yanmalı ve elektrikli araçları bir arada üretebilecek olan Yeniköy Fabrikası, artırılan kapalı alanı ve üretim kapasitesiyle 4 Kasım 2023 tarihinde faaliyete geçerek, 1 tonluk orta ticari aracımız ‘Yeni Nesil Ford Transit Custom' ailesinin dizel versiyonunun üretimine hizmet edecektir. 2024 yılının ilk yarısında ise Yeni Nesil Ford Transit Custom'ın şarj edilebilir hibrit elektrikli PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid) ve tam elektrikli versiyonlarının üretilmesi planlanmaktadır.

Diğer yandan hali hazırda 195.000 adet 1 ton orta ticari araç, 190.000 adet Transit üretim kapasitesine sahip Gölcük Fabrikası'ndaki 1 ton ticari araç üretimi Yeniköy Fabrikası'na kaydırılmış; Gölcük Fabrikası'nda Transit modelinin üretimine odaklanılmış ve Transit modeli için üretim kapasitesi 207.000 adet olarak güncellenmiştir.

Within the scope of the total investment plan of 2 billion Euros, which is the subject of the material disclosure most recently dated 27.09.2021, it has been announced to the public that for the next generation 1-ton medium commercial vehicle projects which was announced in the material disclosure dated March,16 2021, the investment was expected to be made for a period of 5 years between 2021-2025, and that a next generation 1-ton medium commercial vehicle production capacity of an average of 405,000 units per year will be established at the Yeniköy Plant, to replace the similar vehicle currently produced with a capacity of 195,000 units at the Gölcük Plant.

In this scope, approximately 1 billion Euros of investment has been made by the end of September 2023 for the next generation 1-ton medium commercial vehicles to be produced at the Yeniköy Plant. With these investments, the Plant's closed area has increased from 110,000 m 2 to 255,000 m 2 and the production capacity has increased from 68,000 units to 245,000 units. It is anticipated that the capacity of the facility will reach 405,000 units by 2025 with ongoing investments.

With the aforementioned investments, the Yeniköy Plant, which will be able to produce next generation internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles together, will start operating on November 4, 2023 and will serve the production of the diesel version of our 1-ton medium commercial vehicle 'Next Generation Ford Transit Custom' family. In the first half of 2024, it is planned to produce the plug-in hybrid electric PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid) and fully electric versions of the Next Generation Ford Transit Custom.

On the other hand, with the shift of 1-ton medium commercial vehicle production, which currently has a production capacity of 195,000, from the Gölcük Plant to the Yeniköy Plant, the Gölcük Plant has become the production center of the Transit model and production capacity of 190,000 units for Transit model, has been updated to 207,000 units.
