Şirketimizin dolaylı bağlı ortaklığı Global Ports Holding ("GPH"), Ekim 2019'dan bu yana işletmekte olduğu Antigua Kruvaziyer Limanı'nda, yolcu kapasitesini önemli ölçüde artıran yeni rıhtım inşaatının tamamlanmasının ardından, şimdi de projenin ikinci aşaması olan Heritage Quay'de yeni ve son teknoloji yolcu terminalinin inşaatına resmen başladığını Şirketimize bildirmiştir.

Yaklaşık dört dönümlük bir alan üzerine inşa edilecek olan yeni yolcu terminalinin, yolcu deneyimini önemli ölçüde artırması ve  adada ekonomik fırsatları canlandırması beklenmektedir. Haziran 2026'da tamamlanması planlanan terminal, GPH'nin Ekim 2019'da operasyonları devralırken limanda yapmayı planlamış olduğu 45 milyon dolarlık yatırımın bir parçasıdır. Söz konusu terminal  yeme-içme, alışveriş, park, yüzme havuzu, restoran ve bar içeren Antigua Day Club gibi olanaklar sunacaktır.

Yeni terminalin tamamlanması ile birlikte bölgedeki kruvaziyer turizmi potansiyelinin önemli ölçüde artması; GPH'nin Karayipler'deki varlığının daha da güçlenerek, Şirketin bölgedeki büyüme stratejilerini pekiştirmesi beklenmektedir.

Our company's indirect subsidiary, Global Ports Holding (GPH), has officially informed us that, following the completion of the new pier construction that significantly increased passenger capacity at the Antigua Cruise Port, it has now commenced the construction of a new state-of-the-art passenger terminal at Heritage Quay, marking the beginning of the second phase of the project. GPH has been operating the Antigua Cruise Port since October 2019.

The new passenger terminal, which will be built on approximately four acres, is expected to significantly enhance the passenger experience and stimulate economic opportunities on the island. Scheduled for completion in June 2026, the terminal is part of GPH's $45 million investment commitment, announced when it took over operations in October 2019. The terminal will offer a range of amenities, including food and beverage, retail shops, a park, and Antigua Day Club, complete with a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar.

With the completion of the new terminal, the cruise tourism potential in the region is expected to increase significantly, further strengthening GPH's presence in the Caribbean and reinforcing the Company's growth strategies in the region.
