Re: The Supreme Court judgment rejecting an appeal filed against the judgment of the District Court which rejected the motion to certify a claim as a class action filed against The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. The Company is announcing that a judgment was rendered on 27 March, 2022, by The Supreme Court, rejecting the appeal filed by the plaintiff against the judgment of the District Court dated 5 October 2020, which rejected the motion to certify a claim as a class action filed against a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (hereinafter: "The Phoenix Insurance") as well as against 3 additional insurance companies (hereinafter, collectively: "the Defendants"), arguing that the Defendants market and sell to their customers and policyholders, health insurance policies that include coverage included in the additional health services (A.H.S), as part of their HMO membership, thereby misleading their policyholders and causing them to purchase unnecessary insurance coverage, which embody double insurance and payment (See details in the Immediate Report dated 23 November 2020 (Reference No. 2020-01-125898) and in Note 43(A)(11) to the Company's financial statements as of December 31, 2021, which were published on March 29, 2022 (Reference No. 2022-01-036997)).This brings the proceeding to an end. false
