Tier 1 Telecom Operator Selects Gilat Satellite Connectivity for a Major Western European Utility Company

Gilat enables mission-critical IoT telemetry across hundreds of remote sites on the national utility network

Petah Tikva, Israel, July 20, 2023 -- Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT, TASE: GILT), a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology, solutions, and services, announced today that a Tier 1 global telecommunications operator chose Gilat for the satellite connectivity of a major utility company in Western Europe.

The global telecommunications operator is using Gilat's SkyEdge II-c platform to provide mission-critical, all-weather IoT telemetry across hundreds of remote sites on its utility customer's national network. After extensive proof-of-concept testing under rigorous conditions, Gilat's multi-service platform for satellite communications proved to be the best solution to serve this mission-critical infrastructure.
