PARTNER COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES RECEIVING A LAWSUIT AND A MOTION FOR THE RECOGNITION OF THIS LAWSUIT AS A CLASS ACTION FILED AGAINST 012 SMILE

ROSH HA'AYIN, Israel, September 14, 2016 - Partner Communications Company Ltd. ("Partner" or the "Company") (NASDAQ and TASE: PTNR), a leading Israeli communications operator, announces that its fully owned subsidiary, 012 Smile Telecom Ltd. ("012 Smile") received a lawsuit and a motion for the recognition of this lawsuit as a class action, filed against 012 Smile and two other international long distance operators (the "Defendants") in the Central District Court on September 11, 2016.

The claim alleges, among others, that the Defendants charge excessive tariffs from occasional customers for each long distance call minute, contrary to section 17 of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) 1982, that allows a licensee to charge reasonable payment for a telecommunication service that it provides.

The total amount claimed against the Defendants if the lawsuit is recognized as a class action was not stated by the plaintiff.

012 Smile is reviewing and assessing the lawsuit and is unable at this preliminary stage, to evaluate, with any degree of certainty, the probability of success of the lawsuit or the range of potential exposure, if any.

פרטנר תקשורת מודיעה על קבלת תביעה ובקשה לאשרה כתובענה ייצוגית אצל חברת הבת 012 סמייל

ראש העין, ישראל, 14 בספטמבר 2016 - חברת פרטנר תקשורת בע"מ )"פרטנר" או "החברה"( )NASDAQ ו-TASE: PTNR), מפעילת תקשורת מובילה בישראל, מודיעה כי חברת הבת בבעלותה המלאה, 012 סמייל טלקום בע"מ )"012 סמייל"( קיבלה כתב תביעה ובקשה לאישור התביעה כתובענה ייצוגית, שהוגשה כנגד 012 סמייל וכנגד שני מפעילים בינלאומיים נוספים )"המפעילים הנתבעים"(, לבית משפט מחוזי מרכז ביום 11 בספטמבר .2016

בתביעה נטען, בין היתר, כי המפעילים הנתבעים, גובים תעריפים מופרזים מלקוחות מזדמנים לכל דקת שיחה עבור שיחות טלפון יוצאות לחו"ל, דבר המנוגד לסעיף 17 לחוק התקשורת )בזק ושידורים(, תשמ"ב,1982- המאפשר לבעל רישיון לגבות תשלום סביר עבור שירות בזק הניתן על ידו.

סכום התביעה כנגד המפעילים הנתבעים במקרה שהתביעה תאושר כתובענה ייצוגית, לא פורט על ידי התובע.

012 סמייל בוחנת את התביעה ואין בידה, בשלב מוקדם זה, כדי להעריך, באיזושהי מידה של וודאות, את סיכויי הצלחת התביעה או את היקף החשיפה הפוטנציאלית בגינה, ככל שקיימת.
