EXPLANATORY NOTE

TAT Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: TATT - News) ("the Company") announced the resignation of its director, Jan Loeb, effective immediately. Mr. Loeb is the president of Leap Tide Capital Management Inc. ("Leap Tide"). On December 8, 2016, Leap Tide sold its holding in the Company to the FIMI Funds. Mr. Loeb informed the board that he was resigning due to the sale of Company shares owned by Leap Tide to the FIMI Funds.
