MAGMENT is the result of a Franco-German European cooperation, its establishments are based in the south of Munich and also in Strasbourg. Its activity is focused on development, design and manufacturing system components for the wireless power transmission.
The magnetizable concrete used for this effect allow the use of innovative and competitive electromagnetics solutions. Our main applications are inductive components and dynamic or static transmission wireless power for electric vehicles: an essential technology in terms of autonomous driving. We mainly use recycled magnetic materials as additives for our concrete. This process thus reaches the dual objective of financial competitiveness and respect for the environment.
MAGMENT® technology offers the world's unique solution for static wireless charging or dynamic with high operational efficiency, deployable on a network meeting standard charging stations used by manufacturers. This, thanks to a magnetizable inductive concrete with global patents.
MAGMENT combines the development of magnetic materials (patented magnetizable concrete MC40) with electronic devices, making power conversion and wireless charging more efficient, reliable and financially advantageous.
The main MAGMENT products are currently robust stationary and dynamic charging blocks integrated in the ground or above ground.
Each inductive recharge has an easy installation thanks to the possibility of upgrading existing EV charging stations associated with conductive inductive charging systems. The modules are based on conventional patented magnetizable concrete casting.
In addition to our current projects (with electric scooters, electric cars, forklifts, electronic taxis, electric buses and trams), we are working on suitable solutions to future transport systems such as Hyperloops, flying cars, autonomous transport vehicles, delivery drones, electric boats, water taxis and electric planes.

Our concrete is composed of 87% magnetizable aggregates, a waste from the manufacture of ferrites ceramics and electronic scrap recycling.

Advantages of inductive concrete:

As a catalyst for more efficient wireless energy transmission, magnetizable concrete becomes the key, the cornerstone essential for future wireless charging projects (static and dynamic).

The MAGPAD, developed by MAGMENT is the element to be integrated into the ground and allowing wireless recharges (7.7 kWh, 11 kWh and 22 kWh). Connected to the electrical network and then covered with a layer of bitumen, it offers exceptional charging efficiency for all types of vehicles.

The transition to wireless charging removes the burdensome need for drivers to plug in their vehicles with a charging cable. This operation is then allowed by only parking on an inductive block integrated into the ground. Thus, by this process, the unsightly charging stations could be a thing of the past.
Beyond a technologic process integrated into future vehicles (some manufacturers of which already equip theirs, including VW ID3 platform, Audi e-Tron, Porsche Taycan, BMW 530e, Mercedes-Benz Concept EQ), the MAGMENT technology adapts to existing electric vehicles to allow them to use wireless chargers.
The technology developed by MAGMENT makes induction charging accessible and at low cost : it allows the deployment of multiple charging stations on a large scale, thus making electromobility a daily reality. MAGMENT offers technology to facilitate the transition energy in a context of shortage of connection points limiting total engagement towards this transition.

Traditional chargers provided a short-term solution, while electric vehicles were in their beginnings. Now that the range of electric vehicles has considerably increased and that this energy is recognized as that of the future, there is a proven and important need for charging infrastructures adapted to the massive circulation of electric vehicles.
The current weaknesses and limits of the terminals:

MAGMENT combines the development of magnetic materials (patented magnetizable concrete MC40) with electronic devices. Its goal ? Make wireless power conversion and charging more efficient, reliable and financially advantageous.

The advantages of MAGMENT technology:
Parking equipped with MAGMENT technology Current electric charging stations

With the integration of MAGMENT technology in the roads, we bring solutions to the news barriers limiting the development of electromobility. Thus, electric vehicles would have a dynamic charging system, parallel to traditional charging spaces.

For 10 kilometers traveled at a speed of 80 km / h on a dynamic charging road, one electric vehicle will have an additional 90 kilometers of autonomy.
In 2030, 51% of sold vehicles will be electric or hybrid.
A trend confirmed by a new study by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) which estimates that the market share of electric and hybrid cars in total automobile sales will reach 33% in 2025 and 51% in 2030 (39% in France).

In 2040, the French electric vehicle fleet could reach 15.6 million vehicles (Source INSEE)
Problems are to be feared if the 15 million cars are charged at the same time…
A Tesla that charges in 30 minutes requires 120 kW of power. This figure is to be put in perspective with the available domestic powers of 6 to 9 kW. If the entire fleet is made up of fast-charging vehicles, the current low-voltage network will not be able to generate the power necessary to meet the need. Identical problems are to be feared if the 15 million cars are loaded simultaneously (in the evening or during mass vacation departures).
Accessible and low-cost induction charging that allows the deployment of large-scale charging stations (car parks in shopping centers, parking spaces, parking lots in built-up areas, business car parks, highways in particular) making electromobility a daily reality.
The low cost and speed of installation allow large-scale deployment. The omnipresent MAGMENT technology allows electric vehicle users to charge their vehicles during their various daily trips, thus avoiding an overload of electric power at peak times.
Attitude in Germany towards electric mobility and the charging process

Buses, taxis take well defined paths, frequent routes: (airport, station, places...) and have specific dedicated stop stations. These vehicles have a strong presence today meet many constraints preventing the transition to electric motors.
Today it would be complex for these vehicles in constant movement to stop for recharging their batteries by plugging on traditional terminals.

Since 2018, several brands of free disposal scooters rental service have been doing their appearance on the sidewalks of major cities around the world. This market continues to grow and however, these large cities are faced with chaotic situations (lack of specific spaces storage, public disorder, etc.).

At the end of the day, the scooters are recharged by «scooter juicer" workers who collect scooters via the scooter operator's mobile app in order to recharge them on a terminal (home). This operation is a necessity to allow continuity of service, before relocating them in the morning for users at a location indicated by the application.

MAGMENT allows you to create wireless charging spaces dedicated to electric scooters thanks to adaptable receivers to the different existing models on the market in order to allow the completion by operators of the charging system update. Thus MAGMENT gives cities the ability to solve the different situations that they face especially the dedicated storage and recharging spaces.

The establishment of these infrastructures has many advantages
Public disorder ended. End of the logistical constraint linked to the refill.

Dedicated parking and charging zones. An operational scooter park 24/7 - 7/7.

The advantage of the technology by its ease of implementation as well as its low installation cost.

MAGMENT technology makes it possible to create wireless charging spaces and channels dedicated to electric vehicles (forklifts, stackers, pallet trucks in particular) thanks to our compatible receivers. So we give industrialists the possibility of having a fleet of operational electric machines relieving operators of constraints related to the autonomy of their tools of work, like having one fleet charging while the other fleet is working.

See Appendix. Report of the International Commission on Radiation Protection.
As we can see below , the magnetic field emitted by MAGMENT Technology is below the natural radiation of the earth, fields to which we are exposed every day. In addition, the technology is only activated in the presence of a vehicle compatible with it.

After years of research, experiences and works, MAGMENT finalizes its project in a context where electromobility is at the heart of debates (car manufacturers, cities with different issues related to scooters, industries with a carbon neutrality objective).
An innovative technology that provides a solution for many global actors, functional and universal with a major technological advance ready to revolutionize the world of recharge as we know it today.
The end of cables and autonomy difficulties thanks to induction charging and finally, solution to shortages of recharging places.
