Purple Biotech Ltd. (the "Company" or the "Registrant") announced today that the Company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, on December 22, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. (Israel time) (the "Meeting"), was convened and adjourned, without any business being conducted, due to lack of the required quorum. As stated in the Notice and Proxy Statement for the Meeting that was attached as Exhibit 99.1 to a Report of Foreign Private Issuer on Form 6-K furnished by the Company to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on November 10, 2021, the Meeting was therefore adjourned for one week, to the same time and place, i.e., Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. (Israel time) at the Company offices at 4 Oppenheimer Street, Science Park, Rehovot, Israel.
