Re: An appeal on Central District Court Judgment denning a motion to certify the claim as a class action against The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. Following the Immediate Report dated January 5, 2022 (Reference No. 2022-01-002649), and following to the aforementioned in Note 43A(2)(11) to the Company's financial statements as of December 31, 2021, which were published on March 29, 2022 (Reference No. 2022-01-036997) regarding the Judgment of the Central District Court dated January 4, 2022, which denied the motion to certify the claim as a class action (hereinafter: "the Judgment") which was filed against a subsidiary of the company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (hereinafter: "The Phoenix Insurance") as well as against five additional insurance companies (hereinafter, collectively: "the Defendants"), and which is concerned with the argument that the Defendants, allegedly and unlawfully, refrain from paying to the policyholders and third parties the VAT component applicable to the cost of damages, when the damages were not actually repaired, the Company hereby announces that the plaintiff had appealed the Judgment to the Supreme Court.The Phoenix Insurance is studying the statement of appeal. false
