Re: Judgment approving a settlement agreement in a motion to certify a claim as a class action - The Phoenix Pension and Provident Fund Ltd.The Company is honored to announce that on 16 June, 2022, the Tel Aviv-Yafo District Court issued a judgment approving a settlement agreement in the motion to certify a claim as a class action, which was filed against Excellence Nessuah Provident Fund Ltd. (now: The Phoenix Pension and Provident Fund Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company; hereinafter: "The Phoenix Pension and Provident Fund") and against two other companies (hereinafter together: "the Defendants") in the matter of the allegation of unlawful collection of handling fees/collection fees/operating fees/commission/early repayment fee or any other payment (whatever it may be called) collected by the Defendants from their members who took out loans from them (see the details in the Immediate Report dated 5 March, 2018 (Reference no. 2018-01-017712) and in Note 6A(22) to the Company's financial statements as of 31 March, 2022, which were published on 31 May, 2022 (Reference no. 2022-01-055212)).According to the settlement agreement, The Phoenix Pension and Provident Fund will reimburse 45% of the handling fees collected, as defined in the settlement, together with interest and linkage, and will also pay compensation to the class representative plaintiff and the fees of their attorneys, in amounts that are not material to The Phoenix Pension and Provident Fund and against which there is an appropriate provision in the books.This brings these proceedings to an end. false
