Re: A judgment by the Central District Court, approving Settlement Agreement - The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. The Company is hereby announcing that on August 31, 2022, a judgment was rendered by The Central District Court approving a Settlement Agreement in the motion to certify a claim as a class action which was partially approved against the Company's subsidiary, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (Hereinafter: "The Phoenix Insurance"), as well as against 4 additional insurance companies (Hereinafter, collectively: "The Defendants"), and which concerns with the claim of non-refund of a premium for the relative part of the month in which the insurance ended (due to cancellation by the policyholder) and/or premium refund (when the premium is refunded) in nominal values (without linkage differences and interest) (See detailed in the Immediate Reports dated April 22, 2010 (Reference No. 2010-01-456471) and June 28, 2015 (Reference No. 2015-01-057906) and in Note 7a(3) to the Company's financial statements as of June 30, 2022, which were published on August 25, 2022 (Reference No. 2022-01-087321)).According to the Settlement Agreement, in the framework of which an review was conducted by a reviewer on behalf of the court (Hereinafter: "The Reviewer"), The Phoenix Insurance will contribute to a designated fund established by virtue of the Class Action Law 5766-2006, a total of 80% of the total refund amount in accordance with the I Reviewer's report; The Phoenix Insurance will regulate its future conduct in accordance with the Settlement Agreement and the judgment; and The Phoenix Insurance will pay compensation to the class action plaintiff and fees to his representatives. It shall be noted that the amounts by virtue of the judgment are not material to The Phoenix Insurance and there is a corresponding provision against them in the Phoenix Insurance books.This brings this proceeding to an end. false
