Dear Sirs and Madams,

Re: Update regarding the research agreement with MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Further to the Company's report of August 3, 2021 regarding the Company's entering into a sponsored research agreement with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the purpose of research and development of a technology that harnesses synthetic biology for the production of cultivated honey, which is planned to be carried out under the supervision of Prof. Ron Weiss, a leading scientist in synthetic biology, the Company hereby updates that due to personal circumstances, Prof. Weiss, the research director, was forced to take a vacation leave which is expected to end in May 2023.

In view of the importance the Company attributes to performing the research under Prof. Weiss' leadership, the parties agreed at this stage to temporarily pause the joint research until Prof. Weiss returns to work, upon which the continuation of the funded research would be re-examined. It is noted that as of today, the research is still at a preliminary stage.
