Re: Central District Court issued a ruling approving a settlement agreement in a motion to certify a claim as a class action against The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd - Immediate ReportThe Company is announcing that on 17 April, 2023, the Central District Court issued a ruling approving a settlement agreement in a motion to certify a Claim as a class action that was filed against a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (hereinafter: �The Phoenix Insurance�), and against the company PassportCard Israel General Insurance Agency (2014) Ltd. (hereinafter collectively: �the defendants�), and for which the matter of the lawsuit is, inter alia, the claim that the defendants are selling Overseas Travel Insurance without informing their customers of the fact that the �Location, Search and Rescue� component can be waived if it is not required, at the time the insurance policy is drawn up (see the details in the Immediate Report dated 11 December, 2019 (reference number 2019-01-120517) and also see the details in Note 43a(27) to the Company's Financial Statements dated 31 December, 2022, which were published on 23 March, 2023 (reference number 2023-01-026428)).According to the approved settlement agreement, with regards to The Phoenix Insurance's Overseas Travel Insurance policy, The Phoenix Insurance will contribute a negligible amount to a dedicated fund established by virtue of the Class Actions Law, 5766-2006; will, in the future, act as stipulated in the settlement agreement and in the ruling; and will pay compensation to the representative plaintiff and the fees of their representative.This concludes the proceedings concerning The Phoenix Insurance policy. false
