Re: The Supreme Court rendered a verdict according to which the motion to appeal filed by the plaintiffs against the ruling of the Central District Court was rejected - The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd.The Company announce that on September 27, 2023, the Supreme Court rendered a verdict rejecting the appeal filed by the plaintiffs against the ruling of the Central District Court on January 4, 2022, which dismissed the request to approve the claim as a class action (hereinafter: "the ruling"). The claim was filed against a subsidiary of the company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (hereinafter: "Phoenix Insurance"), and against five other insurance companies (hereinafter together: "the defendants"), which alleged that the defendants unlawfully refrained from paying its policyholders and third parties the VAT component applicable to the cost of damages when the damages have not been effectively repaired (see the detailed report from April 25, 2022 (reference number 2022-01-050437), and in Note 7(17) to the company's financial statements for June 30, 2023, which were published on August 24, 2023 (reference number 2023-01-079147)).Thus, this brings the proceeding to an end.. false
