Re: The Supreme Court issued a decision Rejecting a Motion for Leave to Appeal Filed by The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (Subsidiary) The Company announce that on January 7, 2024, the Supreme Court issued a decision rejecting the motion for leave to appeal filed by a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. ("Phoenix Insurance") and another insurance company (the "Plaintiffs"), against the District Court's decision approving a class action ("Approving Decision"), which concerns the interpretive question of whether the health insurance policies (surgeries) marketed by the Defendants include insurance coverage for "preventive surgical procedure" due to a medical condition of the insured. (See the Company's immediate reports dated June 19, 2018 (reference number: 2018-01-059287), 25 January 2022 (reference number: 2022-01-010338), 25 may 2022 (reference number: 2022-01-063700) and in note 7a(17) to the Company's financial statements for the day of 30 in September 2023, which were published on November 29, 2023 (reference no. 2023-01-107977)As part of the decision, it was determined that there was no reason to interfere with the Approving Decision. In light of the foregoing, the class action will continue to be conducted in the District Court.The decision is not expected to have a material impact on the Company or Phoenix Insurance. false
