Re: Approval by the Beer Sheva District Court of settlement in a class action Phoenix Insurance (subsidiary) - Immediate ReportThe Company announce that on June 30, 2024, the Beer Sheva District Court issued a ruling approving a settlement in a class action on its merits against a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. ("Phoenix Insurance"), which, according to the plaintiffs, concerns the question of the scope of the insurance company's liability in collective health policies and/or individual health policies in which the insurance company undertook to pay the insured, in certain circumstances, the value of Form 17 (see Note 7A1(2) to the Company's financial statements as of March 31, 2024, which were published on May 29, 2024 (ref. num. 2024-01-055752)).Pursuant to the approved settlement, Phoenix Insurance will pay each member of the group (as defined in the settlement) an amount equal to 7.225% of the actual compensation value paid by it originally to each group member for the surgery undergone at the expense of the Health Maintenance Organization during the relevant period; With respect to future settlements, from the date of approval of the settlement onwards, Phoenix Insurance will add an amount equal to 7.225% of the value of compensation to the special compensation payable to policyholders of the relevant policies as defined in the settlement. In addition, it was agreed that Phoenix Insurance would pay remuneration to the class plaintiffs and attorneys' fees.The amounts pursuant to the judgment are not material to Phoenix Insurance and there is an appropriate provision against them in the books.Thus this procedure came to an end. false
