Re: District Court issues a ruling approving withdrawal a request to certify a lawsuit as a class action against The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd.(subsidiary). The Company announces that on July 16, 2024, the District Court issued a ruling approving the withdrawal of the plaintiffs' request to certify the lawsuit as a class action. The lawsuit was filed against a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. ("Phoenix Insurance"), as well as against additional insurance companies (hereinafter collectively the "Defendants"). The lawsuit concerned allegations of overcharging policyholders and the breach of the Defendants' enhanced duties, including the duty to proactively disclose information regarding the possibility of updating age and/or driving experience upon crossing an age threshold and/or qualifying for a reduction in the insurance premium. The plaintiffs claimed that there is an industry practice in vehicle insurance to allow updating insurance coverage during the policy period and to receive a premium refund based on the updated age and/or driving experience (see immediate report from January 8, 2017 (Reference No. 2017-01-002650) and Note 43A1(11) in the company's financial statements as of December 31, 2023, published on March 27, 2024 (Reference No. 2024-01-026677)).Thus, this legal proceeding has concluded.. false
