Current Report No. 3/2017Date: 4 January 2017Topic: Appointmentof Mr Rafał Antczak as President of the Management Board of the WarsawStock ExchangeLegal basis: Article 56. 1(2) of the Act on Offering -current and periodic informationContent:The Warsaw StockExchange ("Company", "GPW") informs that on 4 January 2017, on themotion of the State Treasury, a shareholder representing 35.00% of theshare capital of the Company, the Extraordinary General Meeting of theWarsaw Stock Exchange has adopted a resolution to appoint Mr RafałAntczak as President of the GPW Management Board.Theaforementioned decision shall enter into force on the date of deliveryto the Company of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority decision onits consent for the change on the GPW Management Board.Mr RafałAntczak is an economist and manager with more than 20 years ofexperience in international and domestic projects for companies infinancial and real economy sectors, governments and researchinstitutions. He has graduated from the Department of Economic Sciencesof the University of Warsaw and the Comprehensive Course in MarketEconomics at the Joint Vienna Institute (1997). Since October 2008, withDeloitte Consulting S.A. as Management Board Member responsible forresearch, micro and macroeconomic projections, strategic and businessconsulting. In 2006-2008, Managing Director and Chief Economist of thePZU Group and Member of the Supervisory Boards of PZU Asset Management,PZU-Ukraina, PZU-Ukraina Ubezpieczenia na Życie and UFG. In 2006-2008,active lecturer at the Department of Management and the MBA Programme ofthe University of Warsaw. In 1994-2006, Economist with the Centre forSocial and Economic Research CASE Science Foundation. Participant andexpert of many economic initiatives, among others Member of the GPWDisclosure Governance Council established in 2008. He has publishedextensively on economics and market research.According to thestatement provided by Mr Rafał Antczak he does not perform in any formany activities competitive to the GPW, he is not engaged in acompetitive company as a partner in a partnership or civil lawpartnership or a member of an authority of a joint stock company, and heis not engaged in any other competitive legal entity as a member of itsauthority. Furthermore, Mr Rafał Antczak does not have a record in theRegister of Insolvent Debtors operating under the Act on the NationalCourt Register.Legal basis: § 5 (1) (22) of the Regulation ofthe Minister of Finance of 19 February 2009 on current and periodicinformation provided by issuers of securities and on conditions underwhich information required by legal regulations of a third country maybe recognised as equivalent.
