Subject: Information from PKN ORLEN S.A. on the declaration regardingthe investment realised by Elektrownia Ostrołęka sp. z o.o.

Legal basis: Article 17 (1) of MAR - inside information

The Management Board of Energa SA ("Issuer") informs about the receipton 19 May 2020 from PKN ORLEN S.A. ("PKN ORLEN"), the Issuer's majorshareholder, the declaration of preliminary readiness for directfinancial involvement into power unit construction realised byElektrownia Ostrołęka sp. z o.o. ("Investment"). The declaration is aresponse to the Issuer's inquiry addressed to PKN ORLEN and wassubmitted only if technological assumptions for the Investment werechanged to gas-based technology, being one of the considered scenariosof conducted analysis which were a subject of current reports No. 8/2020of 13 February 2020, No. 11/2020 of 23 February 2020 and No. 38/2020 of7 May 2020 provided by the Issuer.

In addition, PKN ORLEN declared its readiness for discussions with theshareholders of Elektrownia Ostrołęka sp. z o.o., i.e. Energa SA andEnea S.A., as to the form, scope and matter of above mentionedinvolvement.
