With reference to ESPI Current Report No. 49/2019 of 22 November 2019,the Management Board of XTPL S.A. (the "Issuer") hereby advises that HPKInc. has informed the Issuer that HPK Inc. has taken a strategicdecision to back out of its business in the area of open defect repairin the display industry, and that the decision is not related to theevaluation of the Issuer's technology by HPK Inc. in connection with thecooperation between the parties. In view of the above, the cooperationwith HPK Inc. under the Memorandum of Understanding of 22 November 2019has not been extended.
At the same time, the Issuer advises that it is continuing businesstalks and cooperation with entities operating in the area of open defectrepair in the modern display industry, including directly with one ofthe main customers of HPK Inc., a global manufacturer of displays.
