In reference to the ESPI Current Report No. 40/2019 of 5 September 2019,the Management Board of XTPL S.A. (the "Issuer" or the "Company")announces that it has updated the forecast of 5 September 2019 re thenumber of patent applications that the Company intends to prepare andsubmit in the period from 1 September 2019 to 31 December 2020.

The Company has adapted its process of filing patent application to therecommendations of the patent offices cooperating with it, anindependent patent advisor and advisors from the executive board of XTPLInc. based in the United States. The recommendations concernedcombination of several related inventions into a single patentapplication. This is designed to increase the quality of individualsubmissions and consequently strengthen protection of the Company'sintellectual property. Accordingly, the Management Board expects that inthe period from 1 September 2019 to 31 December 2020 the Company willsubmit at least 11 patent applications. At the same time, the scope ofindustrial property protection has not decreased, and all applicationshave been submitted on an ongoing basis.

In the period from 1 September 2019 until now, the Company has filed 9patent applications (18 patent applications in total since the Company'sinception).

The Management Board expects that by combining related inventions in itspatent applications, the number of submissions will have reached atleast 26 (counted since 1 September 2019) by the end of 2022.
