ČEZ received CZK 1,484 mil of interest on arrears

On November 2, 2021 ČEZ, a. s. received CZK 1,484 mil of interest on tax authority misconduct in relation to incorrect assessment of the period relevant for granting interest, which was connected to refunded overpayment of gift tax on emission allowances for 2011 and 2012. This income will increase net profit of CEZ Group in Q4 2021 and is not subject to income tax.
