Subject:Announcementof force majeure in JSW

Inreference to the information in Current Report no. 16/2022 theManagement Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. ("Company", "JSW")reports that on 29 April 2022 it adopted a resolution on the occurrenceof force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company's businesspartners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for theobligations affected by the operation of force majeure.

Onthe basis of the decision made by the Director of the Regional MiningAuthority in Rybnik regarding the Zofiówka Section of KWKBorynia-Zofiówka, the operation of this section of the mine where themine accident occurred has been suspended.

Forsafety reasons the entire region where the mine accident occurred hasbeen sealed off using stoppings in KWK Pniówek and it is not currentlypossible to specify how long this region will be sealed off.

Asa result of the analyses conducted, the impact exerted by these mineaccidents in terms of reduced coal production until the end of 2022 hasbeen tentatively estimated to be roughly 400 thous. tons.
