Subject:Announcement of force majeure in JSW

Body of the Report:TheManagement Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. ("Company", "JSW")reports that on 17 March 2023 it adopted a resolution on the occurrenceof force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company's businesspartners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for theobligations affected by the operation of force majeure.

The adoption of thisdecision is related to the occurrence, on 7 March 2023, of a fire in KWK"Knurów-Szczygłowice" Knurów Section. The area of the longwall where theincident occurred has been sealed off. After the operation, a fire fieldwill be designated. For the time being, it is not possible to determinethe time for which the area will be sealed off.

As a result of the analysesconducted, the impact of the event in 2023 has been estimated at 250thousand tons of reduction in the level of production at KWKKnurów-Szczygłowice.

The Company reports that asat the date of preparing this report, it is not possible to specify thefullimpactof the incident on the future prospects of the Company and of the JSWGroup. In the event of material changes stemming from the analysesconducted, JSW will provide information in the form of separate currentreports.
