Title:Patent approval by the Japan Patent Office.

Legal basis:Article 17(1) MAR - inside information

Content of the Report:The Management Board of XTPL ("Issuer","Company", "XTPL") hereby reports that on August 3rd, 2023 it receivedinformation about the conditional granting of a patent by the JapanPatent Office for the printing apparatus used for the method ofUltra-Precise Deposition. The patent was granted in response to thepatent application "Fluid printing apparatus".

The application procedure for this patent was initiated on February 1st,2019. This is also the date when patent protection started for theinvention. The Company's portfolio currently includes 26 patentapplications and a total of 8 patents granted. The final formalrequirement for obtaining the patent is to pay the patent fee by August17th, 2023. Should the requirement not be met, the Company willcommunicate this in a separate current report.

The patent protection will increase the value of the potentialcommercialization of the Company's technology with respect to theIssuer's technological solutions for the next-generation electronicsmarket. The reported event confirms the continued delivery of theCompany's strategy of building a patent cloud for its proprietarytechnology and products, which will contribute to building the Issuer'scredibility among potential industrial clients.

In view of the above, and considering the confirmation of uniqueness ofthe Company's technological solutions, and then the outlook for theIssuer's perception by investors, the Issuer's Management Board hasdecided that the conditional decision to grant the patent to the Companyshould be deemed inside information. For this reason, in the opinion ofthe Management Board, the information meets the criteria set out inArticle 7(1) of the MAR.
