Subject:Information on the estimated impact of the introduction ofthe public levy (solidarity contribution) on the Company's operationsLegalbasis:Article 17 [1] of the Market Abuse RegulationBody ofthe Report:In connection with signing of the act of 16 August 2023on amendments to the act on special solutions for the protection ofelectricity consumers in 2023 in connection with the situation on theelectricity market and amendments to certain other acts [_quot;Act_quot;] by thePresident of the Republic of Poland on 21 August 2023, the ManagementBoard of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. [_quot;Company_quot;, _quot;JSW_quot;], having madethe necessary analyses, estimates that the entry of the Act into forcewill result in a liability to be paid by the Company in the form of thesolidarity contribution in the amount of PLN 1.6 bilion. The solidaritycontribution transferred to the relevant account will constitute JSW'sdeductible expense within the meaning of the Corporate Income Tax Act of15 February 1992. The Act in question will enter into force 14 daysafter its publication in the Journal of Laws.
