Katarzyna Bilińska

PhD hab. of economic sciences in management science, professor at the University of Economics in Katowice, head of the Department of Marketing Management and Tourism. Lectures in English and German.

Carries out business projects in the area of marketing management, development of promotion strategies, shaping of the image, development of product range offerings, development of the frontoffice in enterprises, and construction of business plans.

Promoter and reviewer of doctoral theses. Reviewer in the habilitation procedure, member of the habilitation committee.

Author of more than 190 local and foreign publications (scientific articles, academic textbooks, monographs) on such topics as the operating strategies of enterprises in various sectors including commercial enterprises, development of distribution solutions and the use of the Internet in enterprise operations. Speaker at numerous national and international conferences in, among others, Austria, Portugal, Italy, France, Morocco, UK, Croatia, China and Japan.

Experienced trainer, conducting training based on proprietary programs in, among others, marketing, use of promotional tools in business operations, training on development of the front-office, negotiations, sales techniques, human resource management, marketing management, business plans, marketing planning, management, service marketing, relationship marketing and competition strategy, including benchmarking procedures.

Lectured abroad as part of the Erasmus and Erasmus plus programs on topics including trade marketing, leadership and team building in a cross-cultural environment, CSR concepts at European and Asian universities.

Visiting professor at the SRH University Heidelberg program - Chinese Teaching Project at North China University of Science and Technology, Tangshan; Shenyang University; in Korea Kyungpook National University. In 2018, she was awarded a research fellowship at The Guangzhou Maritime University (GMU, China). Currently a visiting professor at University of Zagreb and North China University of Technology in Beijing.

Worked with the Upper Silesian Agency for Entrepreneurship and Development (GAPR) and the Local Development Agency (ARL) in Gliwice. As part of this cooperation, she has conducted audits for SMEs in various industries.

Managed a research grant entitled "Relationships of commercial enterprises in changing conditions."

Participated in EU-funded projects on the development of new fields of study, as well as management training and the development of youth competencies.

Works with the Polish Scientific Society of Marketing. Member of the Foundation for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship among Children and Youths "Viribus Unitis". Awarded the Medal of the Commission of National Education, the Bronze Medal for Long Service and the Silver Cross of Merit.

Artur Kisielewski

Mr. Artur Kisielewski is a statutory auditor, graduated from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, majoring in Enterprise Management, and from the Katowice Business University, majoring in Accounting and Finance, where he also obtained the IES Certificate from the International Education Society. He holds a Diploma from the Minister of the Treasury for candidates for members of Supervisory Boards in State Treasury companies.

He completed postgraduate studies in IFRS/IAS International Accounting Standards at the Kozminski University in Warsaw. He graduated from the Mining Technical School at the Mining and Electrical School Complex in Jastrzębie-Zdrój with the title of machine technician specializing in the operation of underground mining machinery and equipment.

Since 1998 he has been involved in the auditing of financial statements according to both Polish and International Accounting Standards. He specializes in auditing financial statements of public interest entities, including listed companies and financial institutions, auditing consolidated financial statements and consolidation packages, preparing prospectuses, auditing transformation and merger plans and providing advisory services to corporations and financial institutions.

He has worked for audit firms associated with international networks of audit and consulting firms, including Moore Stephens, Baker Tilly and BDO, where he served as a manager in the audit department. As a Managing Director he headed the Warsaw office of KPFK dr Piotr Rojek.

He is currently the President of the Management Board and a statutory auditor in the audit firm ATAC Audytorzy i Partnerzy Sp. z o.o. in Katowice.

Arkadiusz Mężyk

Professor of technical sciences, Rector of the Silesian University of Technology in the 2016-20202 and 2020-2024 terms, formerly Dean of the home Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Among other things, he was Vice-President of the Polish Academic and Economic Forum, a member of the Silesian Experts Forum, and currently a member of the Academy of Engineering in Poland. He holds the rank of General Mining Director of the first degree. He served as chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

In 2011-2023, he was a member of many scientific councils, including the Institute of Polymer and Carbon Materials in Zabrze, ITG KOMAG, and the Center for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

In 2009-2011, he served as Technical (later Development) Director of OBRUM sp. z o.o. His academic work includes research in machine dynamics, mechatronics, mining machinery, military vehicle design, and projects related to, among others, application of mechatronics in medicine.

In its activity he places great emphasis on the close development of cooperation between science and industry and the development of advanced technologies.

Paweł Rostkowski

Completed the Master of Business Administration postgraduate program at Kozminski University in Warsaw and the Master of Business Administration at the Higher School of Business National-Louis University in Nowy Sącz. He also completed postgraduate courses in "Strategic Audit in Public and Private Institutions" at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw, and in

"Sales Management" at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. Graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw.

From 1998 to 2017, he was professionally involved in banking, having worked in 4 banks in positions directly related to customer service, including regional manager and director of the specialized financing department.

He currently serves as Management Board Member for Finance at Miedziowe Centrum Zdrowia S.A.

Krzysztof Szlaga

Mr. Krzysztof Szlaga received a Master's degree in Economics from the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Krakow University of Economics in 2001. In the same year, he also received the Diplom-Betriebswirt degree issued by the Department of Economics at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences in Germany. In 2020 he completed postgraduate studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree under the proprietary program of EY Academy of Business and WSB University.

In 2001, Krzysztof Szlaga joined KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft, Munich as an Audit Senior in the Commercial Clients Assurance Department. In 2004 he joined Ernst & Young Audit Sp. z o.o. as an Audit Senior in the Assurance and Business Services Department. From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a Project Manager in the Restructuring/Operational Excellence and Corporate Finance Department of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants Sp. z o.o. From 2008 to 2010 he served as a Management Board member and Supply Chain Management Director at CTL Logistics S.A. From 2010 to 2012 he was Supply Chain Management Director at Ruch S.A.

From 2013 to 2018, Krzysztof Szlaga was associated with LW Bogdanka S.A., first as Vice-President of the Management Board for Procurement and Investments and then as President of the Management Board. During this period he was also a member of Euracoal (European Association for Coal and Lignite).

Subsequently, he was a Management Board member responsible for Finance at Ciech S.A. From 2019 to 2023 he worked for Black Red White S.A. as Vice-President for Finance. Since 2023 he has been President of the Management Board of Lefima Invest P.S.A.

Over the years, he has supervised directly a number of subsidiaries within corporate groups, including as a member of supervisory boards, among others of Comp Soft Sp. z o.o., Elektrobudowa S.A., Ekotrans Bogdanka Sp. z o.o., RG Bogdanka Sp. z o.o., etc.

Krzysztof Wrona

Graduate of the agricultural faculty of the Agricultural Academy in Kraków. He also graduated from the WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza majoring in management.

Over the years, he has served on the supervisory boards of power and steel sector companies, as well as local government companies.

He has a wealth of professional experience. He served one term as Zawiercie County Governor. He began his work at the Żarnowiec Municipality Office, and then, from 1986 to 2007, worked in education where he served as School Headmaster for 15 years. During his career, he was also associated with companies such as Kaletańskie Zakłady Celulozowo-Papiernicze (Kalety Pulp and Paper Works) and Ponar Defum Machine Tool Factory.
