INTERMARINE (GRUPPO IMMSI): FIRMATO CON LA DIREZIONE DEGLI ARMAMENTI NAVALI (NAVARM) UN ACCORDO QUADRO PER IL MANTENIMENTO DELLE CAPACITÀ OPERATIVE DELLE UNITÀ CACCIAMINE DELLA MARINA MILITARE

L'accordo, della durata di 4 anni, ha un valore di 60 milioni di euro

Roma, 04 giugno 2025 - Intermarine S.p.A. (Gruppo industriale IMMSI – IMS.MI) – leader globale nella progettazione e costruzione di Unità Cacciamine in materiale composito – e NAVARM (Ministero della Difesa - Direzione degli Armamenti Navali) hanno stipulato un Accordo Quadro del valore di 60 milioni di euro per assicurare il mantenimento delle capacità operative della flotta Cacciamine della Marina Militare.

Il programma di mantenimento delle capacità operative dei Cacciamine si affianca al programma di costruzione dei Cacciamine di Nuova Generazione, che entreranno in servizio a partire dal 2029. Con il presente Accordo Quadro della durata di quattro anni, Intermarine supporterà la Marina Militare in tutto il periodo di transizione ed evoluzione della Componente nazionale di contromisure mine, di protezione delle infrastrutture subacquee e di controllo dei fondali marini.

L'Accordo Quadro sottoscritto quest'oggi con NAVARM è il risultato di un'importante sinergia tra la Marina Militare e Intermarine nata negli anni '70 con la fornitura dei Cacciamine attualmente in servizio e rinsaldato dal nuovo contratto di fornitura degli assetti di Nuova Generazione, firmato a luglio 2024. Collaborazione che ha il comune obiettivo di dotare la Forza Armata ed il Paese di una componente specialistica di Cacciamine tecnologicamente all'avanguardia, con assetti efficienti e capaci di fronteggiare le sfide del futuro nella dimensione subacquea.

Con il programma di mantenimento delle capacità operative, le Unità Cacciamine potranno assicurare la continuità operativa nel delicato settore delle operazioni subacquee - bonifica di aree minate e le operazioni cosiddette di seabed surveillance, per il controllo e protezione delle infrastrutture critiche subacquee (i.e. condotti oil & gas e reti marittime di dati) e la tutela dei beni culturali e dell'ambiente marino, sia in ambito nazionale sia in quello internazionale, confermando non solo l'importanza del ruolo di questo tipo di unità ma anche la centralità di Intermarine quale leader globale nello sviluppo, progettazione e costruzione di Unità Navali Cacciamine caratterizzate da soluzioni tecnologiche uniche nel loro genere.

INTERMARINE (IMMSI GROUP): FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH THE DIRECTORATE OF NAVAL ARMAMENTS (NAVARM) FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES OF THE ITALIAN NAVY'S MINEHUNTERS

The agreement, which lasts four years, is worth 60 million euro

Rome 04 June 2025, Intermarine S.p.A. (IMMSI industrial group - IMS.MI) – global leader in the design and construction of Minehunters in composite materials – and NAVARM (Ministry of Defence – Directorate of Naval Armaments) have entered into a Framework Agreement worth 60 million euro, to ensure the maintenance of the operational capabilities of the Minehunters of the Italian Navy.

The program for maintaining the operational capabilities of the Minehunters follows the construction program for the New Generation Minehunters, which will enter into service starting from 2029. With the four-year Framework Agreement, Intermarine will support the Italian Navy throughout the period of transition and evolution of the national MCM fleet involved in mine countermeasures operations, protection of underwater infrastructure and seabed control.

The Framework Agreement signed today with NAVARM is the result of an important synergy established between the Italian Navy and Intermarine in the 1970s with the supply of the Minehunters currently in service and strengthened by the new contract for the supply of New Generation vessels signed in July 2024. The purpose of the collaboration is to provide the Italian Navy and Italy with a specialist fleet of technologically advanced Minehunters able to face future underwater challenges.

With the operational capability maintenance program, the Minehunters will be able to ensure operational continuity in the complex sector of underwater operations - clearance of mined areas and seabed surveillance operations for the control and protection of critical underwater infrastructure (i.e., oil & gas pipelines and maritime data networks) and the protection of cultural assets and the marine environment, at both national and international level, confirming not only the importance of the role of this type of vessel but also Intermarine's key position as a global leader in the development, design and construction of Minehunters offering unique technological solutions.
