Biographical note

Wojciech Kostrzewa

Entrepreneur and manager with experience in the financial, media, and technology sectors.

President of the Polish Business Roundtable and member of the Main Council of the Lewiatan Confederation. Shareholder and Chairman of Billon Group Ltd, owner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pascal Publishing House. Member of the Board of Directors of Stadler Rail AG, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ERGO Hestia, Member of the Supervisory Board of Gremi Media, Member of the Advisory Board of Squirro AG.

During 1999-2018, he was associated with the ITI Group as a Member of the Board of Directors, President, CEO. From 2005 to 2017, he was the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TVN. In 2020-2022, he was a Member of the Supervisory Board of CANAL+ Polska.

From 1990 to 2004, he was the President and Vice-President of BRE Bank (mBank), Member of the Regional Management Board of Commerzbank AG, and President of the Polish Development Bank. Advisor to the Minister of Finance Leszek Balcerowicz in 1989-1991. In 1984-1991, he was an assistant and researcher at the University of Kiel (Germany). A graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Kiel, he also studied law at the University of Warsaw.
