IMPORTANT EVENT TO REPORT: Litigation

The company Santierul Naval Orsova S.A. informs its shareholders and investors that, on 28.05.2025, it was notified of the criminal decision no. 658/2025, pronounced on 23.05.2025 in file 861/274/2022, pending before the Craiova Court of Appeal.

The court admits the appeals filed by the appellants – defendants Pinten Ion and Şantierul Naval Orşova S.A. through legal representative Sperdea Mircea Ion and by the appellant-defendant-civil party Căiniceanu Ionel, against the criminal sentence no. 112 of 24 December 2024, pronounced by the Orşova Court in file no. 861/274/2022.

It partially annuls the appealed criminal sentence, in terms of the civil aspect, and sends the case for retrial to the same court, for the settlement of the civil action. It maintains the acts performed and the evidence administered until 01.07.2024. It maintains the other provisions of the criminal sentence that are not contrary to this decision.
