Waberer's Group has successfully completed the acquisition of 51% of Pannonbusz

Budapest, 26 May, 2025. – WABERER'S INTERNATIONAL Nyrt. (hereinafter: "Waberer's" or "Company") hereby announces that pursuant to the sale and purchase agreement signed on 25 February, 20251, Waberer's today completed the acquisition of 51% stake in Pannon-Busz-Rent Kft., a road passenger transportation service provider. As part of the transaction, Waberer's has an option to purchase the remaining 49% stake in 2027.

Zsolt Barna, Chairman and CEO of Waberer's International Plc said at the closing of the acquisition that the Group intends to achieve the goals of its updated strategy, presented in spring 2025 , through a combination of organic developments, investments and acquisitions. An important pillar of the strategy is to diversify the Company's activities and enter markets with new growth opportunities. By entering the passenger transportation market, Waberer's is entering a segment that offers significant synergy opportunities from technical, operational and sales perspective. The newly acquired Pannonbusz is one of the dominant players in the Hungarian passenger transport market and one of the highest quality service providers, thus providing Waberer's Group an ideal basis to build its in-house expertise and achieve market success in this segment in the coming years, similar to our traditional logistics segment.
