The following is a Company Announcement by HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. in compliance with the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'Bank') announces that Ingrid Azzopardi has resigned from the post of non-executive Director, and from her positions on the Audit Committee and Risk Committee of the Bank, with effect from 1 October 2024, to take on a new position as she approaches the end of her tenure.

There are no matters concerning Ms Azzopardi that warrant any disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.

The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude towards Ms Azzopardi for her valuable insight and positive contribution to the Bank and its insurance subsidiary for over seven years.

The Bank will announce Ms Azzopardi's replacement at the appropriate time.
