Notification of Major Holdings

This is a company announcement issued by M&Z plc (C 23061) (the "Company") pursuant to Chapter 5 of the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority, in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Markets Act (Chapter 345 of the Laws of Malta), as they may be amended from time to time.

QUOTE

The Company announces that on the 19 December 2023 it has received a Notification of Major Holdings from Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (obo Wealth Management Discretionary Customers), with Maltese company registration number C 2833 and having its registered office at 58, Zachary Street, Valletta VLT 1130, Malta.

By virtue of the notification (dated 18 December 2023), the Company was notified that the proportion of voting rights in the Company held by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. as at 14 March 2022 was 5.53% (equivalent to 2,434,631 ordinary shares), with the relevant threshold having been crossed following the allocation of shares during the Company's Initial Public Offering.

This announcement is being published in accordance with the requirements of Capital Markets Rule 5.197.
