Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

This is a company announcement issued by M&Z plc (C 23061) (the "Company") pursuant to Chapter 5 of the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority, in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Markets Act (Chapter 345 of the Laws of Malta), as they may be amended from time to time.

The Company would like to announce that Charmaine Sciberras, holder of ID No. 149173M and residing at 200, Cher, Leli Falzon Street, Naxxar, Malta has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the Company ("COO") from 1 January 2024.

Charmaine has been employed with the Company for over 30 years in a number of different roles including credit control and operations and has consistently demonstrated strong administration skills and a meticulous approach, towards tasks at hand. Over the years, her ability to navigate complex challenges and streamline operations, has not only improved efficiency of operations with the Company but also earned her the recognition as a valuable leader. Accordingly, her natural progression towards the COO role was in acknowledgment of the duties she has taken on throughout her employment with the Company.

There are no matters concerning Charmaine Sciberras that require disclosure under Capital Markets Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
