HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'Bank') announces that Dr Henri Mizzi has relinquished his posts of non-executive Director, Audit Committee Member and Remuneration and Nomination Committee Member of the Bank, with effect from 31 October 2023, following his recent appointment as a Judge in the Superior Courts of Malta.

There are no matters concerning Dr Mizzi that warrant any disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.

The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude towards Dr Mizzi for his valuable insight, positive contribution and professional service given to the Bank throughout the term of his office.

The replacement of Dr Mizzi will be announced at the appropriate time.
