The following is a Company Announcement issued by Lombard Bank Malta p.l.c. pursuant to the Capital Market Rules issued by the MFSA.

Lombard Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'Bank') announces that on 4 August 2023 it was in receipt of a Notification of Major Holdings (the 'Notification') from LifeStar Insurance p.l.c, a company registered in Malta bearing company registration number C-29086 and having its registered office at 'LifeStar', Testaferrata Street, Ta' Xbiex, XBX 1403, Malta (the 'Shareholder').

By virtue of the Notification, the Shareholder gave notice that it reduced its shareholding in the Bank with voting rights attached from 5.0% to 4.9% as of 7 July 2023 following a reduction in its holding from 4,544,694 ordinary shares to 4,444,694 ordinary shares.

This announcement is being published in accordance with the requirements of Capital Markets Rule 5.197.
