Appointment of Group Financial Controller

Further to company announcement Ref: G313 dated 16th June 2023, the Company announces the appointment of Ms Ann Abela to the post of G3 Group Financial Controller with effect from 7 th August 2023. Ann has, to date, occupied the role of Finance Manager of the G3 Group.

Ann is a qualified Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.), Certified Public Accountant with Practicing Certificate in Auditing after having graduated from the University of Malta. Ann commenced her career in 2009 acting as an external auditor in one of the leading Big4 professional services networks and has acquired a wealth of experience in auditing major local companies, including listed entities. Ann commenced her career with the G3 Group in 2019 acting as a Finance Manager and working hand in hand with the former Financial Controller, in which capacity her main duties included, inter alia, the management of accounting records, evaluating and managing risks that the Group may face, compliance with regulations, analysing financial data, monitoring of expenditure and forecasting revenue, coordinating audit processes, financial statements preparation, and implementing the Group's finance strategy.

Ann holds no directorships in public companies whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market and has not held any such position in the past five (5) years.

There is no matter concerning Ms Ann Abela which requires disclosure in terms of Capital Markets Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9 (both included).
