The following is a Company Announcement by HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. in compliance with the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

Reference is made to Company Announcement HSBC413 dated 6 February 2023, wherein reference was made to the appointment of Mr Geoffrey Fichte as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'bank') on 1 May 2023, subject to regulatory approval being obtained by such date. The bank announces that regulatory approval for the said appointment has now been obtained.

Mr Fichte's appointments are effective from 1 May 2023.
