The following is a Company Announcement by HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. in compliance with the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'bank') announces that Ms Elizabeth Hardy's three-year secondment to the post of Chief Operating Officer of the bank will end with effect from 30 June 2023.

Ms Hardy will be replaced by Ms Svetlana Maslova, effective 1 July 2023, subject to regulatory approval being obtained by such date. Ms Maslova currently resides at Koszarowka 16 Krakow Poland.

Ms Maslova has 15 years' experience with the HSBC Group and has worked in a number of HSBC Group entities across Europe and Asia. Svetlana has held a number of key roles in Retail and Wealth Management and Digital Business Services, and previously worked in Malta for 8 years. Svetlana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philology and English Language. She also holds certificates for Financial Advice and Management Accounting. Through HSBC, Svetlana is also an accredited career coach.

No matter concerning Ms Maslova requires disclosure under the Capital Market Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
