The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Listing Rules, issued by the Listing Authority:

The Bank hereby announces the following Senior Management appointments:

Chief Wealth Management Officer – Mr Simon Azzopardi

Mr Azzopardi resides at 2, Evenly Gardens, Triq l- Ghonqa, ix- Xaghra, Gozo.

Simon Azzopardi holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) issued by the University of Malta and a Master of Science from the University of Reading. He has an Advanced Diploma in Insurance. Simon enjoys considerable experience in the area of investment services since he was responsible for setting up and running the Private Banking Division of BOV. Throughout his career at BOV, Simon has occupied various executive positions such as Executive Head Risk Management and Executive Head International Corporate Centre.

The Bank is in receipt of the necessary regulatory approval regarding Mr Azzopardi's appointment.

Chief Marketing and Customer Intelligence Officer – Mr Peter Halsor

Mr Halsor resides at Apartment 11, 21 Vjal Portomaso, Paceville, St Julians.

Peter Halsor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Bank of Valletta, Peter held the position of Chief Customer Experience Officer at Riyad Bank and he has also led transformation initiatives at Barclaycard and LloydsTSB. Mr Halsor enjoys 20 years' experience leading marketing teams in designing and implementing digital products, services and campaign that underpin business strategy, enhance customer experience and drive profitability. He was actively involved in a number of business transformation/change programmes, collaborating with C-suite executives in translating business strategy into compelling customer strategies.

The appointment of Mr Halsor is subject to regulatory approval.

Chief People and Change Officer – Dr Vanessa Borg

Dr Borg resides at 34 Ta' Caflanija, Triq Raymond Caruana, Gudja.

Prior to joining BOV, Vanessa occupied the position of Director, Strategy Advisory at KPMG, a position she had occupied since 2018. Over the years, Dr Vanessa Borg has held a number of senior positions including Chief Executive Officer with Argus Insurance and Executive Director at Consultancy and Training Acumen Centre. She has also held corporate senior positions, from human resources to operations, within the hospitality industry. Dr Borg holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (Maastricht School of Management), a Master's in Philosophy (Maastricht School of Management), a Master's in Business Administration (Maastricht School of Management) and a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Malta).

The appointment of Dr Borg is subject to regulatory approval.

There are no matters concerning Mr Simon Azzopardi, Mr Peter Halsor and Dr Vanessa Borg that warrant any disclosure in terms of the Listing Rules.
