Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

The Bank refers to Company Announcement 401 issued on the 6th January 2021, through which it had informed the market that Ms Marisa Abdilla was being appointed interim Chief Financial Officer, pending the engagement of the Bank's new Chief Financial Officer.

The Bank hereby announces the appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer, Ms Izabela Banas, with effect from 1st March 2021 and subject to regulatory approval.

Ms Banas' residential address in the UK is Flat 166, 9 Queensland Road, London N7 7FJ. Ms Banas has worked in various senior positions within the finance teams of a number of renowned international organisations, including General Electric Company, Elster Group, Willis Group and Credit Suisse Group. Prior to joining Bank of Valletta, Ms Banas occupied the position of Managing Director CFO – EMEA Private Banking and Global Private Banking COO at HSBC Group, London UK.

There are no matters concerning Ms Izabela Banas that warrant any disclosure in terms of the Listing Rules.
