Appointment of Director of Internal Audit

Further to the Company Announcement issued on 8 October 2020, the Company would like to clarify that Mr Melvin Bonnici has been appointed as Director of Internal Audit with effect from 8 October 2020.

Mr Bonnici joined Corinthia Group as a finance executive in 2006 and was appointed as the first General Manager of Palm City, Tripoli in 2009. Mr Bonnici subsequently moved to International Hotel Investments p.l.c. and was appointed as Finance Director at Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg.

Mr Bonnici has worked with KPMG for 13 years, followed by senior roles at FIMBank p.l.c. and Banif Bank p.l.c.

Mr Bonnici is a qualified accountant and holds an FCCA, FIA and a CPAA warrant. He has also obtained an Executive MBA from the School of International Management at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris.

There are no matters concerning Mr Bonnici's appointment that require disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
