The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Listing Rules, issued by the Listing Authority

Maturity of 4.8% Bank of Valletta p.l.c Subordinated Bonds 2020 ISIN MT0000021270

In terms of the Registration Document dated 20 May 2009, as supplemented on the 12 February 2010 by the Summary Note and the Securities Note, regulating the captioned Maturing Bonds, the 4.8% Bank of Valletta p.l.c Subordinated Bonds 2020 bearing ISIN MT0000021270 shall be redeemed by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. upon maturity on 15 March 2020. In this respect, the bondholders appearing on the Register as at close of business on 28 February 2020 will receive payment of the principal amount and the final interest on the 16 March 2020.

The last trading date in the Maturing Bonds will be 26 February 2020.
