The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Listing Rules, issued by the Listing Authority:

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the Bank) hereby announces the appointment of the Bank's Chief Officer Ethics and Employee Development Mr Anthony Scicluna as member of the Management Board.

As Chief Officer Ethics and Employee Development, Mr Scicluna is responsible for the Group's human resources, training, ethics and employee professional development. Between 2005 and 2013 he was responsible for the Bank's Group internal audit. Mr Scicluna is a certified public accountant and holds a practicing certificate in auditing. He is a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and also holds an honours degree in Business Management from the University of Malta. Mr Scicluna is a member of various committees and boards within and outside the Group.

Regulatory approval has already been obtained for this appointment.

There are no further matters requiring disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
