The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the "Bank") pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rule 5.16.9:

Following the admission to the Official List of 5,772,064 Bank of Valletta p.l.c. fully paid ordinary shares of a nominal value of €1.00 each subsequent to the Scrip Dividend Election for the 2017 Final Dividend, the issued and paid up capital of Bank of Valletta p.l.c. increased to €530,772,064 divided into 530,772,064 ordinary shares with a nominal value of €1.00 each fully paid up. Consequently, as at 31 May 2018, the total number of voting rights has increased to 530,772,064 votes.

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. has an authorised share capital of €1,000,000,000 divided into 1,000,000,000 ordinary shares with a nominal value of €1.00 each.
