The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rule 5.174.2:

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the "Bank") announces that the Bank's Board of Directors has been advised by UniCredit S.p.A., the second Qualifying Shareholder of the Bank, of its intention to dispose of its total shareholding in the Bank to an investor that has already been identified. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

As at to date, UniCredit S.p.A. holds 52,500,439 shares in the Bank, being 10.001% of the issued shareholding of the Bank.
